How is Ekko Black?

Since skin color is determined after many generations of being in an area with 'x' amount of intensity from the sun, how is Ekko black in the world of Runterra?

Where do these black people come from in the world? Zaun is full of white people and Ekko is REALLY black. Where did Ekko immigrate from?

He could not possibly be native to the area of Zaun, Damacia, Noxus, or Ionia.

How are Ekko and Lucian black? It really makes 0 sense. Is there an area on the map that is full of black people and they are just so useless that they aren't in the League? I'm serious. I cant wrap my mind around this.

How can a 5 year old girl posses some of the most powerful magic in runeterra? If Gangplank's ship sunk, how does he use his ult? Where does Olaf keep getting those axes from after he throws it How does Azir create sand soldier in a place with no sand? Why is a morbidly obese drunk in this game? Where does Twisted Fate get 40 decks of playing cards per game? How does Garen spin so fast like that? When will I run out of fucking stupid questions like this?

because black people are gods

Because the streets of Zaun is basically the hood. And the hood attracts black people.

Rito logic at its finest.

I'm sorry that Riot has a couple black champions I know how that must upset you.

I'm sorry it must really do harm to the immersion of the game when you play XD

You're complaining about a fictional world that they made and decided to add a couple people of color to the mix.

This isn't like lord of the rings where the world was so in-depth and detailed. I'm sure you head must have exploded when you found out that samuel L. Jacksons light saber was purple..... just because he wanted a purple light saber.... and probably that he was black.

Have nightmares about it if you want idc. There are black champions in the game, deal with it.

Why would it bother you so much? It's made-up. It's fiction. It's not real. They made it so they can also add to it and do whatever they want with it. Again, it's a fictional world. Not real. Made-up.

And how is it even that hard to imagine? lol. Like there are obviously darker skinned champions before lucian. He too black for you?

huh, i never thought about this. my theory for ekko would be that his parents are from shurima perhaps and they were in zaun for some reason where they were killed and thats why ekko was in zaun from a young age this is completely odd theory that makes no sense but its the closest i got

I always thought ekko look Persian and that he was from shurima the desert place and that's why he has a skin that's sandy

This is the same as asking, "How does magic work, and why do only some people have magic powers?"

It's a video game universe. It only resembles real life in the smallest of ways.

because people can move their bodies

Thats like saying why are there black people (or white people) in america when it was inhabited by native americans. Because runeterria would be present day while prehistory runeterria would be where skin colors originated. Since time has passed since then, races are possible to be in any location because it is the present much like today's world.

Not that complicated

You wanna know why? It's so Riot can be PC. In a world where you're forced to represent everyone and everything, you can't stay true to your lore or the world you imagined, no no, you have to appease the sheeple who identify by what they are, and represent them in -your- world.

Really kind of sad, what society's come to; people identifying by things like race, color, creedo, sexuality and etc. (what they are), rather than by their character (who they are).
