Okay, so it's not much to a lot of people, but I am happy! I've had the tokens now for a while and I've been building up blue essence. Takes a while since it's pretty random from any chests you happen to get and can only be gotten from champion shards.... but finally got the 500 for my second champ at level 6.

cinomenapplebae1 votesIn the shop and in the accessories tab find "Hextech Mystery Champion Shard" It's any random champion and it can get you some blue es fast
Warlord Zudane1 votesDidn't think of that immediately. Bought 4 or 5 of them already for enough essence for 2 of them. Had a champ shard from a chest and I think I found blue essence itself once or twice, otherwise individual champ shards turned into essence one at a time.
