Then disabled him less than a week later for almost a week now (They disabled him Wednesday. It is Sunday).

Still looks pretty terrible in game. Just looks like a member of the yakuza found a captain hat.
Looks nothing like gang plank, and if they had told me this was a new champ, I'm not sure I wouldn't have believed it without some comparisons.

Besides, the Captain skin should be free to you if you've played him. Maybe you don't want to see the new icon but otherwise it doesn't interfere with you too much
IMO the Captain skin should just come with buying gangplank since the change is pretty controversial but they haven't done that with any of the traditional skins :/
