My Concerns [A Comment From Another Thread]

This is a copy and past of what i posted here where the OP said i should post this elsewhere... so here it is...

i wish i could say i love riot and all of its employees... i really do...i use to love the ever loving hell out of riot but right now riot and LoL are like the drug i'm hooked on and i just cant kick the habit... i use to get that "high" of getting giddy at plays and having a load of fun in each match... then i started paying attention to patch notes and specializing in certain champions for the roles i played... since then its been harder and harder to get that "high" because everything has been based around LCS

(yeah, yeah, yeah, hate on me for bringing it up but check the 4.12 patch notes "Welcome to patch 4.12! With only a few patches between now and the League of Legends World Championships, our focus is on the competitive scene and the things we can do to ensure the landscape is diverse and healthy." with other such comments in other patch notes)

which makes things a lot less fun when things are nerfed because someone is 10000% better than you and getting paid to play the game you play casually... now i play the game because i'm bored, most games that have evenly skilled teams are pretty "meh" bland due to all the same champs being played (because riot has nerfed most other champions out of viability of other lanes or in some cases the lane they were designed for...anyone seen a zyra mid lately? calling all lux?), and ive stuck around hoping riot will correct their path and start buffing champions instead of nerfing others... you remember that "Renekton bar" thing where they were buffing top laners to match him? that was nice but then we see mages getting nerfs because they dont want to be supports anymore... then there are the champions riot refuses to nerf because the part of the community that plays them (lee sin) has cried out about not wanting him touched... where was that love for Sona? riot hasn't resent their intentions of reworking her instead of buffing her because of the public outcry that the thread revealing the rework received...

Long story short: I LOVED the work Riot and its employees did in Season 3 and i have a small bit of hope that i could say that about Season 4 but it will take a lot of change and back tracking from the heavy handedness of the balance team balancing for LCS and more towards your casual players who make up 99% of your player base... you may make thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars from your LCS but i'm sure you make more from your micro transactions of your casual player base over the course of the year :|

TBH no one solution works, and everyone knows it. You cant blanket nerf/buff groups of champions, or cut down the most OP and let that be that.

As much as we would like to believe in that route,

true enough but when the ONLY solution they come up with revolves around LCS it's pretty much saying screw casuals...

In the past there hasn't been such a focus on LCS, but currently, the game is more out of whack than normal. They're probably trying to get a balanced patch ready before each region has its own separate championship. I would never think that Riot wants to attack 99% of its fan-base and 100% of their revenue; it doesn't make logical sense.

of course it doesn't make logical sense but their actions speak louder than their words... however i've yet to see a red reply to any thread questioning their balancing only for LCS ... all they ever get are down votes, comments like that elitist down there, and ignored by reds :|

Your just silver 5 . Just cause you can not use a champ to its full potential does not mean that champs should not be nerfed or changed. To think you(or anyone below plat) are a good medium of what a champ is laughable.

You really need to get over your self.

I knew some kind of elitist was going to post here about how my rank has something to do with the facts but it doesn't! Did I EVER claim to be pro? or REALLY good? nope my arguments were about how the Top 1% who are leagues ahead of EVEN YOU (you're gold 1 so even by your standards you aren't "a good medium of what a champ is") are the ones that Riot balances things for! I'm not a bad player, i know my champions quite well, and i can glance at my hp bar and my mana bar and know with about 80% accuracy if i can or can't pull X play off, but none of that has anything to do with what Riot puts in their patch notes! What you've said is even your input isn't important enough for Riot to take into consideration because your not ATLEAST Plat...

How do you feel about being in the 99% that riot doesn't care to balance for?

How would you feel knowing that even if you have the numerical facts that other people like you dismiss your concerns because you're a lower rank than them? (AKA LCS > all you "scrubs" don't know what your talking about")

Can you add some kind of intellectual response instead of "you're a scrub who's not plat so you don't know anything" especially when you're not even plat yourself?

I find your lack of any intellectual response in both of your replies... underwhelming. If you think that **ONLY **the high ranked people of Plat, Diamond, Challanger, and LCS are the only ones who know how to "use a champion to its full potential" that in and of itself is Elitist! If you believe **ONLY **the ELITE, who are the minority of the league player base, can be used to measure a champions ability... again you have an Elitist mind set! I'm not stuck on myself, if I were I'd be bitching about how I **THINK **things are done and not how **THEY ARE DONE ** backed by multiple **FACTUAL ** quotes from Rioters in their own patch notes.
