Thoughts on whether people will be chomping at the bit to get a season 3 urf back now that they have had a second bite at the apple. I don't think so. I just want a mode that is more modest than urf but has the fun of urf. I want a mode that lets you build into god but doesn't make is so that there are so many god champs from the start.

The second time around I think urf has played itself out. Am I alone in this or are you hungry for more?

i think that urf has stayed its fill but i have an idea for urf. so people want to play it, but the community is toxic, so if people are good people thwy will get 1 game of urf s week toxic people will get NURF

Urf was good for me mostly in coop vs ai. I wish it wasn't, but in urf vs players, I've seen the same champions too many times. People played to win at any cost, they attacked towers rather than champions, they fled instead of fighting. All in all, I like this mode, I didn't enjoy it as much as the first time, maybe I was rememoring it with rose-tinted glasses.

What I'm rooting for would be an event as big or maybe bigger than the Shurima or the Frejlord event. What I wish would be a Piltover vs Zaun event, with a big rework on Zaunites champions ( DrMundo and Warwick come to mind, their models are old, they could use a VU), and the lore of the evil scientific city of Zaun. And I wish for the return of the Hextech theme, Hextech Skins, Hextech Items... One can dream!

I'm one of those people. I didn't start hearing that was supposed to be looking for kills until this year. when URF first came out even Riot was talking like this was about pushing towers and stomping along the way. This year I heard that everyone became a tryhard. I would always pose the question: How many kills do I need before you tell me its OK to end the game? Almost no one gave me an answer. I think its because the question is a mirror that make you look at yourself. OR they just think I am being an ass. Socratic method is OP.

I'm still waiting for RIOT to give everyone (like you) what they want, a Deathmatch mode.

I don't want a deathmatch mode. Ascension was more or less a deathmatch mode and I only saw mobile, high damaging / hard to target champions. That was not very fun either. I played it to earn some icons, and never played it again.

I prefer securing objectives, The Summoner's Rift and Dominion are fitted for that (now if only there were real players on Dominion...). I still hope for more maps though. Lately I've been playing a lot of Heroes of the Storm, and there are a lot of maps with a lot of different objectives to secure, I like it. I wish LoL had more maps like that.

As for the existing maps, right now the towers are in a bad shape. Assassins ignore them, ADC and AD assassins destroy them very fast very early in the game, and at almost any stage of the game, they seem to not do enough damage. In URF mode that even more visible. That's just my opinion, but I think towers should be feared by any role early game, right now they do a poor job.

Can anyone play Heroes? I signed up on the beta but didn't push to peruse playing beyond that. I figured I would just play it when it was accessible to everyone. I'm not sure I want to pay for it either. I kind of want a trail period.

I don't personally care to have a death match mode either. I feel it is for the type of brain dead people that don't like responsibility. I don't play DM on FPS's either. But having one as a game mode wouldn't detract from my enjoyment of SR and would give those brain-deads an outlet so they would stop playing SR incorrectly. Anyone who begs you not to destroy the nexus needs another place to be.

I never played ascension once. I just Googled it. I don't think a true death match would be like it.

Not really. So many champs that are OP from the start make any other strategies pretty pointless. Can't have a fun non-serious build without a Shaco jumping out of the bush and killing me with ease.
