@Riot Can someone tell me why I no longer have 600 games of chat restriction
Pretty sure that I had some absurd amount of chat restriction on this account, but it's suddenly gone.
I would like to know why this is please and thank you.

Take Riot's good graces with a smile and try not to fuck up again.
Because Riot has decided to start giving out Permabans, so chat restrictions are no longer needed.
Look, working off those games (original number was something insane like 1100) was the only thing that gave meaning to the monotonous soloq grind any more.
But I want to hear one of them say that it was a mistake and they never should have been there in the first place, because I can't think of a more reasonable explanation.
Everyone is getting a clean slate to restart ..after that you get 4 more punishments and a perma-ban...or something like that..It's on gameplay and balance if you want to know more.

So their solution to racking up insane amounts of chat restriction is to just make it too fucking dangerous to use the chat at all.

One last note: because of the scope of these changes, all chat and ranked restrictions will be reset and past restrictions won’t count against you in the new system. Everyone’s slate is wiped clean (for these restrictions), so this is a great time to turn over a new leaf.

It is important to note that under this new system, if you continue the same behavior that got you 1000 chat restrictions, you will not rack up another 1000 chat restrictions. You will permanently lose your account.
