redniwediS3 votesIt's all about how it is said, not about what is said. People could easily talk about issues in a civil manner, but instead they act like spoiled children who are not getting their way.
I suppose that shouldn't be a surprise in any case. Just look at politics, most people IRL don't understand how to stay civil when there is a disagreement, so we can't exactly expect it from people when anonymity is involved.

Spizzle90001 votesI get that you're a troll, as the name would suggest, but the colonists were "complaining" about valid reasons. For instance, gun control, taxes, being forced to quarter soldiers, not having a representative in Parliament, etc. etc.
I don't call that complaining; I call that wanting freedom.

redniwediS2 votesIt's hardly a matter of perspective. The colonists were loyal to the king and the king betrayed them simply because they were really far away.
He needed to tax them to make up for the poor post war economy, but he messed up in how he taxed them. What part of this is up for interpretation?

EDIT: Just so this can finally end; don't use sarcasm on the internet if you don't know how to use it properly.
You'll either mislead people or you'll find people like me who enjoy replying with overly serious replies, neither of which were your intended goal.
Here's a few tips:
- Unless you know who you're talking to don't use sarcasm on topics people are serious about (aka tencent).
- Learn when to drop the sarcasm.
- Use the :^) face instead of woosh. It has the same meaning to people who know what's going on, but without the small insult attached.

Sarcasm can be difficult to identify and interpret, even in the best of times. As such, it can create a sense of inadequacy. It's okay. Not everyone has the aptitude to understand sarcasm. It's really more helpful if you see this ability in the form a spectrum.The fact that you do eventually comprehend sarcasm, however slowly, is something you should be proud of, not embarrassed about.
I've ignored your list of "tips" simply because you have no credibility or authority on these topics.
However, I did find the idea amusing. Like something a precocious child might say. Thank you for that.
