So riot released their article about the rework for Fiora, and how it was despised, etc.

It made me start thinking about champs worth reworking.

I think we should rework Fizz.

I think there's still a lot for Riot to work with when it comes to the "slippery assassin" theme. We could get rid of his Troll Poll and give him something new that improves his play pattern without destroying his identity. Perhaps we could give him a new passive, put his minion avoiding one on his W active, and give him some form of survivability on his new E without making both teams despise him. Maybe we could move his damage reduction onto his E and give him temporary tenacity or something to let him move around fights more easily.

Obviously these aren't the only options, I'm just spitballing here.

Don't misinterpret this, I love Fizz. When I was investigating League a few years ago in response to a Game Theory about it, he was among the few champions that piqued my interest, along with Anivia. I love his aesthetic as an assassin who can get in and out of fights and dodge around people, but right now it's one of the most toxic things in the game. I don't know if this play pattern is simply doomed to be toxic no matter the execution, but I'd love to see Riot get a second chance on the guy.

Unfortunately the fantasy of being a super high damage assassin who can never be caught is always going to be infuriating and a "toxic" playstyle.

There are tons of champions, which deserve a second chance due to being binary or just bland Amumu, Annie, Cho'gath, Evelynn, FiddleSticks, Kayle, Rammus, Ryze, Teemo, Tryndamere, Warwick, Blitzcrank,
Dr. Mundo, Karthus, Kassadin, Katarina, Nunu, Shaco, Singed, Taric, Twitch. There are original 40 champions, which I think that deserve rework or at least vu.

Pasta is always a valid breakfast and I don't know why the option doesn't have more votes. Or all of them, tbh.

The trouble with this idea is that people play Fizz for his troll pole. Quite literally, that is it. You ask anyone what they love about playing Fizz and they will say his E. Removing the damage from his E would be fine (provided compensation was offered, because otherwise that would be a huge nerf). Removing the invulnerability, however, would make him Fizzless.

idk which one i want most

Yes, he needs a second chance

Just nerf the guy to hell making him a troll pick and 100% reportable (just like evelynn once was) and the player deserves a insta-perma ban

both

that e,that e cooldown, that target missing health on e, that targeted q, the ut amps his damage,

plz report Fizz players for picking Fizz

Fizz could be fixed entirely if his troll polle simply didn't act as invulnerability. That is, any targeted ability that was aimed at him before he used his pole will still hit. His troll pole should just negate that one turret shot, or a champion's one last auto. What it should be doing is preventing everything from hitting him DURING his poll. It shouldn't also negate everything BEFORE his pole.
