Can someone explain what scripting is?
Generally curious because I can't find a definitive answer.

A program that can auto dodge/land skill shots , similar to the A.I. way of playing .At least thats for LOL.
"scripting" is slang for writing blocks of code and/or software that enables you to cheat. for example, writing some code that auto-aims skillshots, or some code that auto-dodges skillshots. xerath is a very popular scripting champion as far as i know, since he's all skillshots.
Scripting: Let an AI play for you.
Computers and programs perform far better than humans. In almost any game ever, when devs are programming AIs, they are not trying to make them smarter to be enjoyable, but rather, dumber, so human players can actually play.
Hence why it's widely condemned as they are not obliged to make the bots sitting on the same level as humans when they're cheating.
