LaoBushido1 votesChat is made to communicate meaningful information about the game state that pings can not like where x laner is or they are at/doing x objective. other wise than that it is to make friends have you played other games like mmos where you made friend not only because they are good at the game but because they are funny, or friendly. Yes there are some people out there that are toxic i agree with that but you have the option to mute them. but you should not go in thinking everything that you team says is going to be useless or toxic

LaoBushido1 votes2 reasons come to mind 1. assuming , mind you i am saying "assuming", that your team every game will give you meaning game information chat is an advantage, riot imo and to my knowledge is not in the habit of taking (game) advantages away there taking way that advantage each and every game is your choice. 2. this is a team game "communication is key" the mute as an option was added to block people who spam or post highly negative and offensive comments the mute all command ( i assume) was added for a solo quer grouped with a 4 que group become the victim of group bulling there for a mute all command is a faster alternative in the case the choice is still a game by game bases as you one is not likely to be grouped with those 4 again,
