Influence Points

We should be able to use IP to unlock champions for friends.

Influence Points are becoming increasingly obsolete. I bought all my chromas with IP but now all chromas require RP to purchase. That makes sense I guess, but can we make gifting champions use Influence Points?

I got my brother into this game, but as a new player he doesn't have access to champions right off the bat. We have to unlock them. But the problem is that Riot keeps dropping new champions with outstanding kits that require too much IP to purchase as a new player. Getting roughly 200-300 IP a game takes a while to accumulate enough to get the champ you like. By that time you've already played the game with champions you don't like- and the game itself becomes uninteresting to the new player.

I think if we could use IP to gift new champions, it would be a more welcoming system to new players. Also- we would have something more to spend IP on rather than wait for the new champion release or change our name for the fifth time. :P
