Cannot Connect to the Server. Looking for Advice.

I've already sent in a support ticket about this but we all know how long it'll take for it to get sorted out that way, so I was wondering if anyone has ever had problems logging in or playing games with the error saying that it can't connect to the server. It started yesterday morning, I queued up with some friends and was unable to join the game after champion select. I kept getting the same error that I couldn't connect to the https server and to check my fire walls. I disabled all firewalls and even windows defender and/or let them through an exception (tried both). Then it turns out that I couldn't log in. Every attempt to log in was meant with "cannot connect to server" I was wondering anyone has had this problem before and found a quick way to fix (or even a long way) I've tried everything the boards/support-page have listed or suggested :[
