Elo tier divisions names.. Meaning ?

What is the point of the names from the divisions ? Example
Silver 4 Vladimir's Crushers

First time I played Ranked 2 years ago I thought the names meant that is how you played. I also thought and still do that who ever is in your division with you play the game that best resembles your own play style.

If I play slow paste games that i stall out 40-45 mins when most times behind do I get placed after my first 10 placement games at the start of the rank season, with players that have the same mindset or does the names not mean anything?
