The Lock in system has ruined me

I've already made a post about this recently where I just got bashed because people misunderstood, which is fine. So I decided to remake the thread.

The issue I'm having is the new lock in requirement for dynamic que champion screens. Among many issues including lag and bugs, the lock in requirement has really screwed me over in this new dynamic que. Now I know what you guys are thinking "Fucking scrub just press the button and you're done." But please hear me out

I've been playing league for around 4 years, where I took a substantial break midway the third year. When I came back I see this new awesome que, a few new champions, tons of skins, new masteries, the hextech system and more. In all 4 years I've played the game I have never clicked the lock in button. My pattern was pick my champion, tab out and wait for the game to start. For 4. years. That was my champion select routine. Now with the new lock in requirement I was kicked from the lobby around 4 times suffering crippling wait timers.

I see the purpose that this requirement serves, to get rid of afkers that pick their proffered champion and just afk. There is a simpler way of going about this. Proffered champions are picked to prevent them getting banned, so once banning is done, reset all players proffered champions and don't allow them to pick until it is their turn. This makes sure that when the player picks their champion, they definitely are not afk, and should be auto locked in.

Another thing is that league no longer pops up when it is my turn to pick anymore. Back then when I was tabbed out league would force its way forward when it was my turn to pick. So now I just rely on the sound effect(s).

Now I really know that this post looks and sounds really r%%%%%ed, I get it. Pressing a big ass orange button isn't that hard. But please, consider my position on this, how I've played the game for 4 years. And hey, worst come to worst, I'll just have to get used to it. I do think wait timers for que after getting kicked for not locking in is wayyy excessive, but its whatever. Thanks for reading the post, I appreciate your time. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
