I know ive only played a few TEAM BUILDER games with him but with thunderlords decree im having alot of success with him. Dat burst. Helps him early and we all know that if you do get a few kills early he becomes a monster... What are your thoughts on him at the moment?

ItsStout1 votesHe actually was alright with the ult changes a while back. Thunderlord's and the buff to his W puts him in a pretty good position.
He also shits on Yasuo, which is nice. Just max E against him

The problem is that he struggles against AD mids, and is inefficient pre6, so if you get one of the AD mids he might struggle to do anything.

I haven't played him vs Talon, but he can easily wn vs yasuo, and can vs Zed. You just max E for a bit more DMG and waveclear, and farm with Q. But yeah, he's much strongger vs AP mids

yeah but its really easy to farm safely with him... His mana costs are low so you can last hit with his Q. His W is really good to refill your mana and farm at tower and once he gets catalyst you can start poking em with your Q and if they jump in you slow em with E and run away... Once you get your level 6 you should have catalyst and blasting wand and thats enough AP to burst someone with thunderlords and ignite. Hes also REALLY good with the Lich Bane/RoA changes.
His core IMO is RoA, Ionian boots, lich bane and ludens echo in this order. Once you have that you are an untouchable squishy bursting machine from hell.
J Eevo1 votesHe was designed to have to ult into waves to waveclear so pre6 you'll actually be struggling to waveclear efficiently if you get pushed back too far. As for mana costs, he's one of the AP mids that literally did not gave two shits about mana potions because of his mana regain on W, but the problem is the high cooldowns on his basic ablities and the restriction on E.
You'll definitely have to melee things if the wave gets to your turret if you want to keep up with the cs which opens you up to easy harass, and you can't really do much against that.
