Is it okay to /mute all in ranked?

When I play league, I generally mute at the first negative message, as I have severe anxiety and panic attacks, and being abused by strangers can be not the best for my health. Now as great as pings are, there's some things that are a bit difficult to communicate through them, so I don't mute people in ranked games. But in recent times this had led to me not playing ranked at all. So I'd like opinions. Should I start muting people or just try to suck it up?

Nobody likes it when you mute everybody and you will probably get reported, so it's better to communicate and actually help the team. Reach out to them for help instead of pushing them away

how interesting. personally i feel uneasy if no one on my team is being abusive or raging a bit.

i've seen some high elo players hit the /mute all consistently before games. lately i felt that there is never anything good coming from the written communication in game. in my low elo no one pays attention to my calling out that my opponent flashed or used summoners anyhow. pings are usually sufficient.

Just means you are antisocial and can't communicate with others

Why bother playing 5v5s just go play 1v1

Ya it's pretty hard... Toxic and negative players don't realize that, at one point, we have to get rid of them, mute them. And moreover, they don't realize that this mute can lead to a defeat, since you won't be able to communicate properly.

I don't have your anxiety issues but I'm always facing this choice in ranked, since just leaving them write their flaming often lead to us being irritated too.
