When someone asks why you're in bronze when you should be silver and it makes you incredibly happy.
And then you have a really bad game and your reminded of why you suck.. Q-Q
I played my placements and a few games past that at the beginning of this season, placing into Gold V, and have not played Ranked since. I feel I've improved significantly over the year, so I am confident I'd place much higher in rankings if I were to actually play Ranked games.
From my perspective, I'm in Gold V because I despise the Ranked system and think it's contrived, but I am confident I play at a higher level than my Division would suggest.
Keep in mind, as well, that with the immense stupidity of our current ranked system a player can be Silver I but actually playing with low Platinum due to high MMR and bad luck on promotional games.
nobody has higher skill than his division. i mean surely there can always be like 1-2 divisions difference but a gold 5 wont have plat skill and a diamond 3 wont have master skill. im currently bouncing between dia 4 and dia 3 so my skill can very well be dia 2 but im simply not good enough to carry myself into dia 1.
i mean, sure if i was to play on a master account i might be "good enough" to get myself carried and not drop instantly but i wouldnt be good enough to acquire more points which ultimately means that you are good enough to play on this level.
Here is my break-down of lane-skills for myself :
Top : High-Silver/Low-Gold Mid : High-Silver/Low-Gold Jungle : High-Bronze/Low-Silver ADC : Mid-Silver/High-Silver Support : High-Silver
Certain Champions I have more experience with, can perform at a Low-Mid Gold-Level on occasion, probably Upper-Silver-Level with most of them, most of the time, and periodically there may be cases where I simply have no idea what to do & would have to rate those picks as Low-Silver capability. I do carry my own weight most of the time though.
Also, the reason I have been stuck in Silver I, has to do with queue-dodging, and yes, bad match-making. Happens. A LOT for some reason. Ranked DOES consist of LUCK, match-making consists of luck, your team-members having a good or bad day that day can also consist of luck, and so no I am NOT « stuck » here in Low-Elo but rather, have had set-backs that have made it an annoying grind to climb up out of lost time from bad match-making (for the record, I WILL FUCKING BLAME THE TEAM-MATES I HAD FOR DEMOTING ME INTO BRONZE TWICE THIS SEASON, but I am NOW CURRENTLY IN SILVER 1 after playing the Queue-Dodge game for over 150x so far, yeah, take THAT you skeptics !).
I hope that anybody, and EVERYBODY actually, who has that arrogant attitude about you belong where you deserve or deserve/belong down where you are, gets matched with 30 teams in a row whose team feeds 35 kills in less than 5 minutes and ALWAYS makes them lose in a FOUR-MAN SURRENDER-VOTE even IF they were wrecking their own lane, ALL THE WAY INTO BRONZE (and for it to happen TWICE within the SAME SEASON, followed by higher-ranked players giving them shit about their rank, and telling them that they deserve to be in Bronze), THEN they can experience how I felt, arrogant-bastards !
