How does Kled work with Guardian Angel?

GA restores 700 or 30% of that champions maximum health, whichever is greater. Mana is not applicable for Kled.

My question is, does it make this calculation based on 'Kled's' health or 'Kled and Skaarl's' health?

The magic number is 2333.33 health. Any less health than that and GA will grant 700 health, any more and it will grant 30%

Kled has 340 - 1530 Skaarl has 400 - 1505 + 100% bonus health Together they have 740 - 3035 + 100% bonus health.

This means if it is ONLY based on Kled's health it will ALWAYS grant 700 health. Of course if not it will restore 30% of whatever their total is, as long as max is greater than 2333 health.

My assumption is that it will be based on the total. However, this brings to mind more question.

Who gets the health? Is Kled revived in unmounted form with all of the restored health, up to his maximum? If 30% would be greater than his maximum, does it also restore Skaarl? Does it restore them both regardless? Does it restore both with 30% of their respective health? What if 30% is less than 700, how much does each get?

If someone could test this and get back to me, that would be great.

Hi !

Just tested it.

So you can only revive as Kled unmounted. You revive with 700 or 30% of you max health ( Kled HP + Skaarl HP )

I tried it with low HP.

Then with 4800 HP, i was revided as Kled with 1269 HP ( Passive healed with for ~1400HP)

So i guess if you died as Kled, you can only revive as Kled

Interesting, I'm actually a little surprised that is the way it works. Sounds like GA is actually a severely inefficient item on him if your max health is any more than roughly 3 times Kled's base health. Maybe still good on more offensive builds. Then again, the revival passive will ALWAYS be good.

The only other question I had now comes from how you mentioned "if you died as Kled, you can only revive as Kled."

I don't expect you to test this right away, but I wonder if there is a way you could be burst from mounted to death, in a way that would result in being revived as both Kled and Skaarl. If possible, I would imagine it coming from a massive burst of damage over a very short time. Maybe it would need to be a single ability. Or, maybe it simply is not possible.

No, because if you get bursted enough to lose Skaarl then it acts like the Under Shirt program from Megaman Battle Network.

"Name of Program: Under Shirt / UnderSht Description of Effects: When Megaman.EXE gets hit by an attack that could've killed him, his HP will be reduced down to 1. This effect will stay as long as Megaman.EXE's HP is higher than 1."

So any extra damage past the amount needed to dismount him from Skaarl does not get applied to Kled.

While I can certainly appreciate the reference, is that actually how it works? When hit with an ability that would normally deal damage greater than the current health of Skaarl, all excess damage is negated and not applied to Kled? This would actually explain something that I saw in a different video where Skaarl was killed by a tower and the tower dropped aggro without continuing to attack Kled.

If Kled is mounted, a single instance of damage cannot kill him outright. If both Kled and Skaarl have 1 health each, and Veigar ults them, Kled will dismount and still have 1 health left.

That sounds like he'd be pretty effective against Katarina then, have u had that match up yet?

It's better against LeBlanc. Katarina's Death Lotus can continue though Kled's untargetability and finish him off after he gets dismounted.

Assuming that you can only die unmounted because you have to lose Skaarl's HP first, I think it just gives the 700/30% of Kled alone.

Prior commenter tested and confirmed that Kled is revived, unmounted, with 700 health or 30% of maximum (combined) health, up to Kled's maximum base health.

No, but this is a very unique interaction between a champion and his 'shield' so it is unprecedented, hence the questions.

Well yeah the buff does have a weird way of triggering it is still just a shield, albeit one with side effects, still just a shield.

A very valid question. I think it would be unfortunate to have Kled spawn without the mount, seeing how obsolete he is when dismounted.

And that just made me think of another instance. If Skaarl flees, and say, a soraka comes over to heal Kled, does it make Skaarl return once that HP point is reached? Can she overheal Kled? And if Kled is down half hp and manages to get Skaarl back from hitting enemies, can Soraka still heal Kled as if his HP was entirely seperate?

No because skaarl is his passive, a shield he gets after a few auto attacks, it also comes with a ms buff and ability changes. I dont know about him being healed while on skaarl, but since its a shield i assume yes.
