Login Error. Is there a server issue?

Edit: It has since been "fixed". No word on what the issue was, but it didn't last long, and from the few comments, I'm assuming it wasn't wide spread.

Yah, I try to login, and it keeps telling me it's reattempting, then gives me the classic login error. I trust Riot will have this fixed soon.

Are you guys on the East Coast as well? I'm not like "freaking out" or anything silly, just curious if it is a server issue on the whole because I see very few comments, or if it is a localized issue for some odd reason (or maybe even an ISP issue? I'm on Time Warner).

I also made a post about this (in help and support) and yes, I'm on NA. So is the other member of my group who got the same issue. Hopefully we'll get some sort of update about it soon. But given the fact that the last two times this happened the servers were down for a few hours, I'm not gonna get my hopes too high about it being fixed quickly. I know Riot's doing everything they can though, so a thanks in advance for everyone working on the issue.

Just ended a game and got disconnected from chat. Now I am unable to login :/ Virginia as well.

turn off peer to peer transfer it fixed the issue for me

Guys, I think it's fixed. I just logged in. Although chat still seems messed up. (btw I'm in Kentucky AND on Time Warner).

I'm from North Carolina as well, and I also have Time Warner. Two other friends of mine, who also live in the same area and use TWC, are experiencing the same issue.

We just wanna play some League, RIOT! PLEASE!
