Happy to have you! Whether you’re from Reddit, vBulletin, or just new to League forums I for one want you to have the best time possible here, so I’ve cobbled together this post to help you on your way as you browse through. Keep in mind this platform is still in Beta, meaning that through your perusing you can actually help the Beta Team out by posting feedback about your experience in posting, commenting and other areas within the forum in Site Feedback. Bug reports help immensely!

So we have a fresh start here people. As a personal request from yours truly and nothing more, when you come here you are not coming to another GD, or another Reddit. This place is fresh with possibilities and has the ability of becoming that gaming forum you've always wanted. By contributing here, you are (hopefully) helping the CB take those steps in the right direction. It's up to us as a community to make that happen!

So you may have stumbled across these already but the CB boasts a good arsenal of convenient tools and information. Some of these are easier to find than others, so here’s the ‘road map’.

PvP.net profile link - Change your log-in information and look at the Summoner’s Code. Not new persay, but still useful.
Riot Support Link - Direct link to Riot support, you can check the knowledge base and/or submit a Ticket here. Also not ‘new’ but even more useful than above.

#####What is a ‘Ticket’?
A Ticket (Or Support Request) is a text request to a support employee for Riot. This is an awesome tool to use for specific technical and logistical problems. Essentially, if you need a Rioter’s direct assistance go here and fill out a form. You’re not the only one though, so it may take a while for a response to happen, be patient!

My Updates - The CB has a system in place to directly reply to posts and other comments, and when someone does this to you a little alert will appear here. You can click the ‘My Updates’ link to go directly to a page showing all of your current unread updates.
My Profile - This link will bring you to your own personal CB profile page. Here you can see all of your recent posts and comments, as can anyone else who clicks your name.
Ordering Options - Currently, there are three ordering options available. ‘Recent’ and ‘Best’ are self-explanatory, ‘Hot’ isn’t however. ‘Hot’ ordering factors in number of net upvotes and the time posted to establish its order placement.
Riot Presence - A Rioter has visited this thread! Find out more by going in and looking.
New Comments - When you visit a thread, it’s marked as read with the purple coloring. Any new comments posted in that thread after that point will show up with this yellow marker. You can click this marker to jump into this thread showing only new comments. This is particularly helpful in incredibly popular posts.
Vote Number - This represents how many votes a post currently has. More upvotes means more people that want this post to be seen.
Red Tracker - Ever wanted to know what the latest Riot activity is? This tool shows all recent Riot activity both in the CB and in the vBulletin forums, including posts and comments made.
Server/Region - This shows where a player hails from. The CB has the major benefit of being capable of supporting multiple regions at once. Anyone who’s made a level 1 NA account to browse the Riot forums knows how useful this can be. Try out your main account to see if your region is supported here!

Unlisted) Show as Flat - This option is in blue at the very top of the comments section. If you're not a fan of nested comments, and/or more of a fan of vBulletin style comments, hit that button and watch the magic.

Unlisted) Comment Ordering - Same place and look as the other ordering options. Currently, there is only 'Hot' and 'Recent' Ordering. If, for whatever reason, you do not want the vote count to influence the ordering of the comments, pick Recent. This setting will remain set on each individual post.

Original Poster Indication - If this shaded box surrounds someone's name, it means they are the original poster within the thread. Players have blue boxes, Rioter have red.
Reply - Simply put, reply to that specific comment. Most easily seen when Show As Flat option is not on.
Permalink - Copies the URL of that specific comment into your address bar. In other words, if you copy that address when someone else clicks it they will be directed to the same exact comment.
Report - To be used if a post/comment is found offensive and moderator action needs to be taken.

Detailed Red Tracker - This Red Tracker is a bit more focused than the broader out-of-post Red Tracker. This one shows a preview of the Red Comment in order of date/time submitted. This pertains within the post only.
Edit - Self-explanatory, touch up your comment or post with this.
Attachment - Embed not enough? Upload attachments to your post or comment with this button.
Quote - This button will automatically copy and quoteblock all text in an immediate reply.
Comment Jump - Whatever Rioter comment you're previewing at the moment you can jump to with this button.
Rioter Rundown - Ever wanted to see just the red comments? Well that's what this does, it shows all the red comments with the option of seeing the 'parent comment' (the comment the red comment stemmed from).
