Does your win/loss ratio even matter?

I'm fairly new to the game, and currently have 51 wins with 61 losses. I'm unranked because I reached level 30 at the end of 2014 and I'm enjoying playing about 20 different champs right now... basically I have character ADD.

With that said, how the hell can I raise my win/loss ratio when I'm constantly placed with the dumbest teammates in the world?

I may not be the best player, but I've laned against a couple platinum players before and went even. And more times than not, I either win or go even in lane. Now I may not dominate, but there's plenty of times where I started 5/0, yet when I look up at the score, it's 10 vs 20 in favor of the enemy, and I realize that both the other two lanes lost and are feeding like crazy.

Another example is I just lost a game where I wanted mid, but my douchebag teammates told me to go supp. So I went support and did pretty well. I got my ADC (Ashe) fed and she started 3/0. Yet, top and mid lose and there's no way Ashe can defeat the whole team by herself while I'm stuck playing a sh*tty support that can't do any damage.

How can anyone overcome this when you're only 20% of a team and you have absolutely no control over the other 80%?

Normal w/l doesn't matter really, it's just there as a statistic. Ranked W/L Is for statical reasons as well so you can watch how your win loss shifts on different rolls and such

this relates highly to your comment on winning lane - which means nothing if you go 5/0 in lane and do nothing else.

Especially when you BARELY HAVE a KDA over 2.0. Look at your own match history - you're negative in KDA in several games, but it's your teams fault? And now the "feeders" are down voting you?

No, I down voted you - you're complaining about blaming others. Buck up, focus, and keep your trap shut until you have 0 deaths, and win lane 100% of the time, dont' come here and blame others.
