Guess what, you have to lock in, in the new queue :O. You got this little tooltip TELLING YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO DO IT. Also, the new queue lobby is laggy, so you can't try to lock/ban in the last second, or it doesn't go through. Thank you for not being the 15TH FUCKING LOBBY IN A ROW TO DODGE BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO LOCK IN.
This thing was highly foretold not only by Riot's statements, but also all of the comments about it while it was on the PBE. I was certain it caused a lot of fuss, but I guess plenty of players didn't notice. Maybe some players just don't want to look into things that'll influence their gameplay in the near future, I guess.
This'll resolve itself, sure. I wouldn't be surprised if some players dodge two games in a row from forgetting to lock in though.
