Realization that average player age is 16 [Moved]

This has an astronomical impact on the decision making, and is most likely the reasoning behind the bane I have against the community.

Average player age. Considering I'm a decade older than that, there's got to be approximately players whom are approximately a decade younger than that.

So when I'm trying to comprehend why the decision making is so idiotic, I never clued in that the individuals I'm playing with, haven't even developed their brain yet. And of course this is going to sound like I'm flaming, and I'm calling them stupid. I was flaming, and I was calling them stupid. But then I realized that they're far too young to even have developed a brain, so I've literally just been an asshole the entire time, assuming the other individuals were the same age / same intellect as me.

I literally just left a match in the middle of a game, because I came to this realization. My allies weren't flanking the opponents while they were out of positions, which would have been the best strategical response. But they don't comprehend strategy, because they haven't developed a brain yet.

I guess Riot was just trying to create a fun non-competitive game that could be the new Duke Nukem for the younger audience. The entire time, I had no idea.

Back to DotA.

Not to say I am "qq'ing". I really had a good time playing league. Played with numerous friends at the internet cafes, met numerous friends that i'm still friends with. Great game, it's just really focused on the younger generation, which is fantastic, it really is. I felt really bad for calling people names, I guess I need a good break. I'll still pick up the game with real life friends, but I don't really think I can handle solo queue anymore.

Bah, /endrant.

Honestly, this comes off as arrogant and pompous as hell, as well as a tad salty.

Well, good luck anyway. Have fun in DotA I guess. However, this survey https://infogr.am/dota-214355163121, indicates that 42% of the DotA playerbase is age 16 to 20. So it will probably be the same.

And as a final note, I strongly disagree with the imputation that increased age correlates to better strategic skill. The average pro player's age is around 18 to 20, with Faker, widely regarded as one of the best players to play this game, playing his first competitive match at the age of 17. He went on that year to win the Season 3 World Championship. And since you are currently silver 2, that means they are A LOT better than you strategically, despite their "inferior" brains.
