Buy a skin in advance?

Like say there's a skin coming out soon that you want (like Star Gaurdian Lux) what if you could buy it early (pre-order per se) and it uses your RP right then. That way on the day it's released it automatically gets added to your skin collection. I don't know if it's a good idea or not it just popped in my head a few moments ago.
