Help me out here guys and gals

Hey guys, I've been lightly working on a "Welcome to the Community Beta" post detailing

  • advanced formatting tips/tricks
  • frequently asked questions and frequent requests (related to the CB)
  • and a brief 'tutorial' for the various CB tools like the profile tool, toolbar, in-post red-tracker and "show as flat" option.

Geared towards the new user who either may be getting hit hard by the Reddit/vBulletin transition or simply overwhelmed by the layout.

Now the question is, for you guys who may or may not read it, should I include this all in one large post or separate the subjects out? Is there anything you want to make sure I cover or add?

As an example I'll be going over things like:

  • Difference between Help & Support and Site Feedback
  • Common formatting problems and how to fix them
  • Headers, dividing lines and tables and how to make them
  • Frequently requested features, and links to match
  • and more!

Just submit them you wimp!

Anyways lol, you might want to actually include the descriptions and what should go in each sub-community, not just Site Feedback and HS. I think we can both agree that misplaced posts are extremely common and while less common I also see people posting their topics repeatedly over and over in both the same community or in all sub-communities.

You might also want to include a Forum Decorum section. (Rhyming optional). I think we see posts naming and shaming far too frequently here in the CB and we also see a lot of "Free RP" rubbish. Having a standing post stating that Riot has officially taken a stance against such actions and that it could result in a ban would be a good policy.

Finally, a section detailing things that should be handled by way of a support ticket as opposed to forum post would be a good idea I think. Don't know about anyone else, but I'm a little tired of seeing "omg my client crashed", "rito i'm an idiot and clicked a bad link", and "insert entitled complaint here".
