There are some things that are just not acceptable for Riot to do. This is one of them.

It has been brought to my attention that somebody on the support team has taken a request for logs on what I assume to be a chat ban, which they are supposed to provide upon request, and declined it even though they told the player that they had looked at the logs (not pictured below due to wanting to keep their identity as safe as possible), however this is also posted on General DIscussion by the eprson it happened to, clearly upset he provides the entire log, found here: ( http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4811525 ). They directed the request to Lyte personally and told them to post on the forums about it.

This is completely unprofessional. A player has asked you for logs which you have looked at, you tell them what you believe they did wrong and then refused the player the logs. Instead, you directed them to the League of Legends General Discussion board and told them to make a post about it, which sparks oh so much drama. This is completely unacceptable.

In an effort to keep things relatively clean, I will not be disclosing this staff members name, however their picture will be there to prove it is not a fake and if you want the name, feel free to go to the previously mentioned link. It's not too difficult to find on the forums and some people may chide me for providing it, but it is still part of this case. Nobody should be able to get away with purposefully attempting to start drama with a player they're supposed to be helping.

The support team only gives chat logs for 14-day and permanent bans atm. Part of their current policy, probably to more efficiently allocate their resources, if you're chat restricted you're out of luck (or the opposite?). You just have to bear with it, you don't need a lot of messages per game anyway.

If you have been 14-day or permanently banned, then I don't know either why you don't get chat logs.

You should not need the logs. YOU already know what you type in games. You're just asking for MORE punishment coming here and whining.

Outrageous outrage.

Heya CW,

I don't know if I agree with you on this man.. You have to take many things into account:

  1. we don't know how bad what he did or said was
  2. she gave him her opinion and told him, this is what I can do for you at this time, if you have further issues.. Take it higher.
  3. Riot is the company and provider, they can do whatever they please, with or without consent (sans: sell your personal info, etc..) and EVERYTIME you click Accept under user terms and agreement.. They own you (account wise).

I just can't champion causes where people act like total dcks, KNOW they are acting like a total dck, get caught in said action, get punished for said action, then want to throw their hands up as if they are confused or are the ones being wronged. That is the behavior of a child.
All these "why was I banned AGAIN?", "I deserved the first ban but I was defending myself the last time, WHY am I banned?" Just lack personal accountability. Riot is trying to run a gaming business, not a reform school for kids.

The point is that if you got banned for 14 days or permanently, you can't seriously be oblivious enough to not know what you did, given how toxic you have to be to get hit with one of those punishments. If you want to play games, you can ask publicly, that's the deal.
