Wait...I can't gift Summoner Icons?
Seems inconsequential but I was really looking forward to sending one of the new Project ones for a friend who I know would love it
I assumed it was possible but now that I try there's no option for it

How long will gifting summoner icons be disabled for? I really want to get one for a friend but the option is no longer there.
I'll add in here, in hopes that Riot listens, I've been trying to get my friends their favorite Worlds team icons so they could rep them, VERY upset that I can't do that. FIX THIS PLEASE!
I don't know why the icon gifting option is gone .. wanted to buy one of the project icons for a friend :/

I was trying to login and buy all three NA team Summoner Icons for my wife but since I can't that's money that will never get spent.

Me and my friends were going to rep NA but one person can't get cloud 9 because gifting icons isn't available. D: We were going to be TSM, CLG, and C9. Rip the dream.

They disabled the option for gifting summoner icons until the end of worlds because of some technical issue.

Ye, that's really bad. at the moment, we've got only few things to gift to our friends (Mystery skins, RP, Champions..) We need more cool stuff like icons. Also, it would be alot better if we became able to gift Hextech boxes and keys. {{summoner:2}}
My IP is on m smurf account and i was looking forward to gift my main one of the worlds icones, but I just realized i cant, plz riot let me spend my money.
