Can we do something about this please? I shouldn't lose LP or lose a promo match because Sexually Frustrated Sam is having a bad day.

I don't know about you OP, but the worst part about that for me is that I wouldn't even mind a Graves mid. It's just that attitude. Sorry that guy's attitude sucks.
I screenshot people who threaten stuff like that and report them after the game.
They don't even have to follow through with it, just saying it is harassment in my opinion.

Puhlease.... Graves mid is no match to my fellow instalocking Gold V, 0 LP, 2000-Win teammates going Caitlyn mid with barrier and clarity after higher picks already selected an AP Mid/ADC.
I say "have fun with your ban" and they usually don't feed. I say usually because there's always some outliers. Although usually if a person gives me an ultimatum I say "just do it then." I don't do ultimatums.
Just report him. you losing LP his losing LP just tell him "idc you lose i lose so? Go feed idc."
I had to suffer something almost as bad a couple of days ago. Our Pantheon jungle went to go invade their red early on even though both our top and our mid were pushed up to their towers and their mid and jungler were nowhere to be seen, and after we ALL continuously warned him to back with with various pings and typing in chat, and then sequentially dying to their jungler and mid, he went on a childish rampage and blamed us for not helping him and decided after that to only farm and not gank any of our lanes for the rest of the game, and he never fought with us in teamfights either.
We even asked him to gank, and it would have been better had he just ignored us and just did his own thing, but he straight up said "no" or "nope" every time we asked.
All lanes lost, and the enemy team snowballed ahead pretty easily towards their win. It wasn't fun.
What makes situations like this worse is the fact that reporting people feels like it does absolutely nothing and you have to suffer through it regardless.
I always stop playing ranked after losing 2 in a row, and the past week has been 10 total losses, playing 2 at a time of: a. First picks picks mid, last pick also picks mid and says "too bad, I'm mid." Both go mid and fight over farm until one rage quits or runs into turret b. Enemy team gets first blood so teammate calls us all bad and tells enemy team to report us all for unskilled or c. Teammates just don't get along and one intentionally sabotages the game just to spite other teammate (eg. tells enemy team our positions)

But yeah I had the same thing earlier. Some ezreal (yep another toxic ez main.. go figure....) Wants to mid All i did was look up his mid champs and ban them then he switched to adc ezreal before he even got to pick ;]
All them zed/fizz/ahri/syndra/yasuo casuals who can't play any other mid laner outside of the 5 "meta" picks.
u dont talk back to these people, it will provoke them. they are looking for a reason to show their frustration. u mute them when game starts and hope they dont feed.
And instead of the playerbase thinking riot should address these people with some level of decency towards the people that have to put up with them, they tell you that if you acknowledge their existence you "are as bad as they are". Riot has the community so brainwashed, they even think the people reacting to trolls are the problem. My opinion is that if you are a jerk in one single ranked game and ruin the game for everyone there, you should be banned from ranked for 30 games, period. You openly claim to intentionally feed one time in ranked? banned. This seems desirable to the current model of banning the people that flame after having 500 of these games in a row and finally losing their cool. But idk

The problem is that at the end of the day, the tribunal system doesn't serve the purpose that it has been set up for. It isn't effective and so people just act like jerks with no recourse.
Riot should actually police people within solo queue where people are trying to play the game in a competitive manner and trying to get better but having that opportunity stolen by people who are out to troll.
My response would probably be "Alright, then I guess I'll go Lux jungle."
the best way to deal with this is to just stop caring. if you're good enough to rank up, you'll rank up. the trolls are part of they game and always will be, they are on the other team too, remember.
Sounds like you deserve the loss. Next time don't rage at someone for picking an off meta champ. I can completely understand graves point of view I've thrown a few easy wins in ranked because people raged at me for no reason and it made me tilt. I'd look at your behavior before complaining about others

I just hit 30, Im going back to unranked. people are so angry and combative in ranked... I dont like it :( Its like there is someone being a dick in every single game, pointing fingers ect.
What if every time a user was penalized by the tribunal for specific offenses (e.g. feeding but not necessarily verbal abuse) all teammates got a quarter or half of their lost ELO back?
