I don't know about you OP, but the worst part about that for me is that I wouldn't even mind a Graves mid. It's just that attitude. Sorry that guy's attitude sucks.

Honestly Graves mid can be just fine. Most ADCs can do pretty well in mid. I actually take Sivir and Lucian there occasionally for fun and I've carried games with them. It's just that miserable attitude "if I don't get this I'm ruining the game for everyone." It's entitled, immature, and just outright frustrating. Makes you wanna find the person and give them a good punch in the face.

Iono i get tired of my team intentionally fucking over their own teammates, refusing to communicate or cooperate every game. I just give my team three stikes and ask them if they actually want to win.

I don't mind attitude. What amazes me Is how people go out of their way to type those extra toxic words. Like thats true dedication I'm so lazy that when I tilt I just don't even type at all and just farm the game out and hope for a win.

Other people though. They literally go out of their way to type and shit all game. Or suicide into turrets. I'm amazed these players still exist. LOL "banned from ranked testing" yeah right Obviously not working if theres still people saying they'll feed and shit or wanting to duo X solo lane

I can see why the Graves became that way though.

I stopped playing unorthodox builds due to the massive ragefest that ensued. Yes, my jungle Quinn ratio is negative. Miiiiiight have to do with the fact that well over half of those matches had someone deciding to troll or grief me, instantly go afk, intentionally feed or just spend the entire game flaming and blaming me regardless of my performance. A few report warnings later I threw in the towel.

I gave up, but perhaps the mid Graves had the same thing happen and instead responded by preempting the rage by raging first.

They don't even have to follow through with it, just saying it is harassment in my opinion.

It doesn't work that way. I know threatened to feed and never followed through with it. Never got banned or anything. In fact at the end of the match the guy who complained ended up with more deaths then me.

I am pretty sure whatever you say to someone who threatens to feed can be viewed as toxic and harrasment. The system punished whoever is toxic, it isn't one sided.

I say "have fun with your ban" and they usually don't feed. I say usually because there's always some outliers. Although usually if a person gives me an ultimatum I say "just do it then." I don't do ultimatums.

What? No. No, this is bad, don't do this. Provoking these people is almost as bad as being these people, because there are still three other players on the team. If everyone keeps the toxic player appeased and just reports after the game, you stand a chance and they'll probably still be punished. If you provoke him to feed, then you're giving up the game for three other people who might want to try.

I always stop playing ranked after losing 2 in a row, and the past week has been 10 total losses, playing 2 at a time of: a. First picks picks mid, last pick also picks mid and says "too bad, I'm mid." Both go mid and fight over farm until one rage quits or runs into turret b. Enemy team gets first blood so teammate calls us all bad and tells enemy team to report us all for unskilled or c. Teammates just don't get along and one intentionally sabotages the game just to spite other teammate (eg. tells enemy team our positions)

All I can say is if you see 2 of any role, just dodge. Can't do much with the others, but you might be able to start a flamewar within the enemy team. If you haven't seen their jungler for a long time ask if he is afk.

I feel your pain. I'll be the first to take blame for my own mistakes like engaging a bad teamfight or getting caught out, but probably 8/10 games are lost due to poor teammates. Those that don't cooperate, feed and refuse to play safe, crap like that. And that's not counting dc/afks

Our Pantheon jungle went to go invade their red early on even though both our top and our mid were pushed up to their towers and their mid and jungler were nowhere to be seen, and after we ALL continuously warned him to back with with various pings and typing in chat, and then sequentially dying to their jungler and mid, he went on a childish rampage and blamed us for not helping him and decided after that to only farm and not gank any of our lanes for the rest of the game, and he never fought with us in teamfights either.

We even asked him to gank, and it would have been better had he just ignored us and just did his own thing, but he straight up said "no" or "nope" every time we asked.

All lanes lost, and the enemy team snowballed ahead pretty easily towards their win. It wasn't fun.

What makes situations like this worse is the fact that reporting people feels like it does absolutely nothing and you have to suffer through it regardless.

Blaming the jungler because everyone lost lane is a crutch.... if you can't win lane on your own merits you don't deserve to win the game

I think his issue is more with the stubborn refusal of this guy to help anyone on the team to "punish" them. Not that the jungler didn't gank. It's not as if the guy was free-farming all game to come out and carry everyone as Yi with 4000 Feral Flare stacks... he was just being a jerk.

I'm not blaming our jungler for us losing lane, it's just our jungler outright refused to help by doing anything in response to their jungler ganking, or doing anything that had any significant impact. He didn't countergank, he didn't help push another lane, he didn't counter jungle. He straight up refused to help anyone all game because of his level 1 death.

If the enemy jungler was in a lane, then that lane automatically had an advantage we could not meet anywhere else because our jungler decided farming and playing as passively as possible was our deserved "punishment".

And instead of the playerbase thinking riot should address these people with some level of decency towards the people that have to put up with them, they tell you that if you acknowledge their existence you "are as bad as they are". Riot has the community so brainwashed, they even think the people reacting to trolls are the problem. My opinion is that if you are a jerk in one single ranked game and ruin the game for everyone there, you should be banned from ranked for 30 games, period. You openly claim to intentionally feed one time in ranked? banned. This seems desirable to the current model of banning the people that flame after having 500 of these games in a row and finally losing their cool. But idk

But yeah I had the same thing earlier. Some ezreal (yep another toxic ez main.. go figure....) Wants to mid All i did was look up his mid champs and ban them then he switched to adc ezreal before he even got to pick ;]

All them zed/fizz/ahri/syndra/yasuo casuals who can't play any other mid laner outside of the 5 "meta" picks.

What if every time a user was penalized by the tribunal for specific offenses (e.g. feeding but not necessarily verbal abuse) all teammates got a quarter or half of their lost ELO back?

It would screw the ranking system up. Imagine someone flaming and trolling for a month, then getting banned and those 100 players he played with all got LP for something somewhat free. Those players might be in a completely different place and that LP gain might do a lot more than intended.

The problem is that at the end of the day, the tribunal system doesn't serve the purpose that it has been set up for. It isn't effective and so people just act like jerks with no recourse.

Riot should actually police people within solo queue where people are trying to play the game in a competitive manner and trying to get better but having that opportunity stolen by people who are out to troll.

Sounds like you deserve the loss. Next time don't rage at someone for picking an off meta champ. I can completely understand graves point of view I've thrown a few easy wins in ranked because people raged at me for no reason and it made me tilt. I'd look at your behavior before complaining about others

Saying "I'd like to Graves mid and I'm first pick so I'm going to" is acceptable.

Saying "I'm going to Graves mid even though I'm last pick and if anyone above me picks a mid I'll feed" is not.

It sounds like the Graves in question leaned far closer to the second.

OP didn't say anything about raging at the Graves mid guy, and he didn't even say anything about the match. You only assumed his team raged at the Graves mid guy because of his statement: "Graves mid. You don't like it, I'm feeding. You piss me off, I'm feeding."

In all honesty, OP's team could have all been silent and could possibly have won the match, but that wasn't his point. He wanted to point out that the attitude of the player sucks out the fun of the game and could cause a loss, and wants Riot to do something about this mentality.

His statement is all we have to go by.... it implies they did something to make him mad if you take it in the order its written. He goes graves mid, if they complain about it he'll feed and if they piss him off he'll feed. if he fed then they did one of those two things.... thats the information given...

I don't think you understand the point of this thread was. No one want's the Graves mid guy on their team, not because he'll feed, but because his attitude towards the players sucks the fun out of the game.
