Why no red AMA's here?
You guys at riot have AMAs over at reddit, but I don't think you have had one here yet. Any plans to?

We are waiting to bring a few more quality of life enhancements to the table so that larger discussions are more easily facilitated.
I think we're close, what do you think?
Yeah, it seems close but it needs a few things like links and formatting options where we post. The guide is helpful though. I don't get the reason behind the champion numbering system.
<-- wants to know the secret behind the numbers.
EVERYBODY DOES! RWAR!!! (also champions are a lot more acceptable, it is guessable that they are sorted by prototype #, but was there truly a few thousands item prototypes?)
Champions are a mixed bag (look at Thresh's id).
Most of them are by when they were first started in their development cycle. Some of them simply have the ID of a champ that has long since been removed, filling in the gaps. Others are incremented to a number someone was particularly fond of.
I'm sure there are other stories why certain champ IDs are how they are. It'd be rather difficult to gather all of that info though.
On items, there are actually hints of a system. If an item is in the 1000s, it's likely a base item (or was). An item in the 2000s is a consumable. 3000s represent items that build out of other items. Otherwise, numbers are jumped over sporadically mostly just to try to keep items grouped together in manners that make them easier to develop on.
*glitters* O.O *glitters*
P.s. escaping characters is broken as hell.
Not enough people use this platform to warrant an AMA here.
Announce AMA on main forums, and reddit. Link them to AMA thread here. Easy enough.
I do hope that they eventually transition to running some here, though. I think it would be a good stress-test to see how very large discussions work out.
Yes, I think an AMA here would bring a ton of attention to these new forums.
The point is that they don't wanna attract too much attention until the community is solid and clear (and globally accepted).
