I never understood the decision to not have new skins available as soon as the patch comes out. Like it makes no sense to wait a week into the patch to release the new skins. Just make all new skins available immediately for goodness sake, its basic logic. I've been so excited for these skins and its been over 2 weeks since I first saw them on the PBE. Just release them already Riot!!!!

Champions and reworked kits are available right away (barring some kind of game breaking bug) [I'm looking at you Azir]

skins should be ready for release at least during the first day if not immediately :(

They release does ASAP because does are gameplay materials. With reworks, they have to be ASAP because they likely got rid of the old kit. And most new champs aren't instantly available & are made available later that day. Also, remember what happened to Kindred?

What the gameplay has to do with some bunch of skins to champs that might not be touched in the patch? You can still release them and continue with gameplay materials.

if they keep up there trend they should come out tomorrow just like the pool party skins but knowing how much of a pain in the ass riot is compared to how smart blizzard handles things maybe it will take a week instead of the normal couple of days

They don't release all the skins for the patch the day the patch goes live several reasons.

One case is when there multiple skins with different themes during said patch. They don't want one skin or group of skin to outshine the others. For example, last year a patch had Order of the Lotus Irelia, Nightmare Tryndamere & Knockout Lee Sin. Each skin was release on their own day so they could be given their own time to shine. Of course, the PROJECT skins are the only skins this patch, so it's not the case here.

Another reason is that they have a publishin plans that predetermined dates based on what content is releasing and if they is promos to go along side them (like Snowdown).

So it's a case of just being patience, I mean it's only a few more days. It's not like we have been waiting for years. They will eventually release the skins & the whole PROJECT......project soon.

There is nothing to look forward to in the first place other than not supporting the game. It's nothing but a game to them and they get off on breaking our balls. I had hoped to enjoy the skins before work this weekend, and the following week. This ridiculous delay is the very reason my financial support has been lacking. I'm about to just uninstall because of it, not that they will care.

So because they insist on denying themselves sales, I will just demand a charge back.

PSA: They didn't announce the release dates, so there can't be any delays. Would you rather have them rush it out the gate & have another Dark Star Thresh? You would probably be complaining about them breaking your balls then as well. So let's stop acting Riot made a legal agreement to get you the skins ASAP. They will release the skins on THEIR schedule, not yours.

But if you being an impatience person who can't freaking wait a few days is all that takes for you to quit League, then go ahead & leave. It's not like waiting for stuff will stop with League. You don't see me getting impatient with Nintendo over the next Zelda game or Lucasfilm over the next Star Wars movie & "demanding a charge back".

While I don't know what he was on about I think the biggest problem for me is that they do not let the public know what their release schedule is. We end up waiting for some time without knowing when we will have to stop waiting. That's the biggest issue for me anyway is just the lack of feedback. I still do not think they have any reason to wait and I do not have an issue if they release it right away and then need to take it offline for a day or two to fix it but just telling us to wait without letting us know how long just feels like crap. If riot had announced that the patch will be going live on Tuesday like it had but the skins will be released the following week on Tuesday I'd still be frustrated because I wouldn't want to wait but at least I can excitedly wait for the day.

For me it's more about not knowing when it's coming out rather than the wait itself.

Well, that's a reasonable question & I assume the answer has something do with the skins team wanting to avoid announcing stuff early. Let's be honest, Riot has had some bad experiences with talking about/announcing things too early & then shit happening that prevents them from meeting players' expectations.

The damn "Ao Shin Where?" memes, Magma Chamber, replays system, do I even have to mention the other example involving a certain Queue from earlier this year?

It's the same reason why they don't announce who is getting what skin & when early. If something were to happen to delay or prevent the development of that skin, then players would be disappointed, mad & say Riot lied to them and blah blah bla. Sure, they can't possibly mess up on every single skin release. They could try and announce the skin(s) release date ahead of time. But all it will take is one delay, one fuck up that prevent the skin from coming out on it's schedule date & people will riot. Sone people will be reasonable about it & understand that shit happens in life all the time, but others aren't as tolerant or patient.

But try asking Riot KateyKhaos if they could consider releasing an estimate time of release schedule to give customers a rough window of when the skins will become available. For example: Pool Party Urgot schedule to come out sometime during February 32nd to February 35th. It gives Riot some leeway while providing players a good estimate.

Ok yea most of that makes sense, but like you said the Project skins are the only ones this patch. I don't really agree with the whole "nothing to look forward to during the patch if everything gets released right away thing". Isn't that what we do while the new content is on the PBE is "look forward to stuff".

Id assume its mostly making sure the backend is ready for the promotional stuff after it gets launched as well as making sure all the various media is ready to go out in sync as well.

I don't know why Ashe got the top skin, honestly she has way too many skins. Last year's Project line was fine because it was just for champs that hadn't received skins in years.

Fair enough. Although Ashe has 9 skins total while Yi has 7 and unlike Yi she had a skin that changed particles before this one.
