@Riot - Rotating game modes

So the idea of rotating game modes is to always have some sort of special mode to play besides the normal queues, and to have them change fairly regularly. If I understand correctly, you described One for All, Showdown, Hexakill, etc as part of your "rotation of game modes". I just find it strange that you keep them up for two weeks, then we have nothing for a month until the next comes out.

Is there a specific reason you do this besides trying to starve the community of fun? I can understand if you do this because of technical limitations, but taking one down early just to increase anticipation for the next seems cruel to me.

Smite has had this feature since early beta (game modes rotate every day). I don't see why a huge game like LoL can't do this.

Honestly, if the I think 4 that they do have did rotate every two weeks I wouldn't be playing them anymore at this point, once they get a larger number of game modes like that out then I could see it being a consistent thing but at this point I see no need to have them always available.

Community Fracturing for smaller regions is a big reason. 3v3 and dominion are flat out disabled in Latin America regions last I heard, so introducing game modes as a constant additional option will screw with a lot of people elsewhere. It can be done in NA and Europe quite easily from what I understand, but Riot can't play favorites in those cases.
