I remember Riot saying that "Quinn" was intended to be "Quinn & Valor", but they shortened it to avoid long names

meanwhile they release 'Guardian of the Sands Kha'Zix' which goes into two bars of text

just seems odd

So they didn't want long champion names, but they're okay with longer skin names.

I fail to see a contradiction.
