Garens silence on Aatrox when diving away @meddler

So he clicks the ability and before the animation executes, I dive away. Still get hit. What is the point of animation if proximity doesn't matter. Sorry, but I reacted quickly and dived away before he even did the attack. Why should I still get hit?

If youre saying you got hit with an ablity/aa after you casted a mobility spell thats been in league forever. and I dont see them changing it anytime soon

But why doe s it register as a hit when garen has only activated the silence for his next attack? If i dive away before he even swings his sword for his next auto attack, why should that register as a hit?

aatrox benefits from the same mechanic.

if theyd be changing how ability animations work like youre asking to, then aatrox would also not be able to execute his dive anymore if hed be cced mid animation.

you have to know that every animation that isnt a channel will be executed after it started. this means, even though aatrox gets cced during his dive animation, he will still execute the jump to his new location and be cced there instead.
