Is Talon still good?
Just curious I've heard some people say he's better top now with the lost of his silence.

Talon is still a very strong midlaner without his silence.
Armor pen all day.
Talon is still a good mid laner imo, you just have to be a little smarter with how you play him since he doesn't have his silence anymore. It's also kind of hard to see since Zed overshadows (heh) him right now, but I think Zed is a bit too strong atm.
He's a bad Zed.
But a pretty good mid laner.
He beat the crap out of any mid laner that rely on one skill shot to line up their entire combo.
Such as E over Lux's Q Ahri's E Morgana's Q
And Talon is one of the best assassin for roaming bot double kill.
hes still playable. but no real reason since he is heavily outclassed.
He's good if you want to play an AD mid-laner who's still strong but not as mechanically challenging as Zed. Obviously Talon's skillcap is a lot lower than Zed, but his learning curve is easier.
He does very well on comps that already have hard initiation like: leona, thresh, gnar. Don't expect to be able to initiate with him though, you'll get blown up, especially because everyone can buy a 475 gold anti-stealth item at level 9.
his a good counter pick for most mobile and strong mid laners like: zed, kassadin, ahri, leblanc and almost all mages but he is really weak against katarina and akali because of their kit and buildpath.
i don't think talon is a good top lane at all
He is garbage, he is not worth playing anymore.
