Better to peel for your squishy or fuk up their squishy?

For example, if you're playing Alistar, should you go ham and fuk up their squishy dude or sit back and slap their chubbies to protect your squishies? I feel like taking their carries out of the teamfight is good, but also realize that it leaves your squishies kind of fuked too. Wut do?

There are two reasons to dive the enemy team's carries. The first is to remove them from combat either through CC/forcing them to focus you, or by outright killing them. The second is to become such a threat that the enemy front line has to peel you off, and therefore not dive your own backline.

If you're playing Alistar the best thing for you to look at is whether or not the enemy front line will attempt to peel you off of their carries, and whether or not your backline can effectively remove the enemy front line while you are doing so.

There isn't really 1 answer to that.

Probably the simplest thing I would think about is can I kill their squishy before they can kill mine. The next thing I would consider is the skill level of the person I would protect vs the person I want to kill. If my ADC is bad and theirs is good then I am going to weight going for the kill higher. Finally, ill consider what my champion is most effective at. If I was say wukong Im going to heavily favor going in for the kill but if I was say moaki then Ill probably be leaning more towards protecting.

Depends on how fed your squishy is. If she's like 3/3/3, fuck her, but if she's 15/3/3 then she kinda needs you.

Fuck theirs up. Unless you know for a fact your ADC is good, it's not worth sacrificing your life just to see them go melee form and get deleted before they put out 2 autoattacks.
