Maybe next seaon Riot's focus should be on making the fans happy

Let's face it, this season is probably going to end as the worst one riot has done to date. I'm not trying to pick on riot with this post, but I think this year has been a complete PR disaster and whatever positives that happened are getting overshadowed by the negatives. DQ was a disaster. The MYMU was a mixed bag. The new champions are an okay Jhin, a decent but underplayed Aussie, and little miss "my eyebrows are bigger than my winrate" (I don't hate her eyebrows, I think they make her distinctive). So I guess that's average overall. The tank meta lasted too long for my tastes. The new lore has become something I can't be bothered with to care about.

I'm trying to think of big positives but the main things that define the season seem to be blotting other things out. I mean the first thing that comes to mind is the skins team as they tend to do a pretty good job, but I'm only giving them a B because there really weren't any skins I wanted to buy. They do good work, but they haven't put out anything to my tastes yet.

I really think that next year, riot should just put a break on their plans, figure out what is making the players unhappy, and try to do a little bit better in the PR department and in damage control. Make the game fun again next season and stuff like that. I mean one bad season isn't great, but the fans can live with it mostly. However if you get 2 bad seasons back to back, that's another story.

So is it too much to ask for riot to try and make season 7 something the fans will enjoy and be happy looking back on?

The fact that they made Season 6 the way they wanted it was a big mistake. Fixing it in Season 7 will be a good thing, but have fun for the remainder of the Season.
