Suggestion to improve Fiddlesticks' 3 sec. fear (with the nerf)
So there's some controversy now about changing the duration of Fiddlesticks' fear from 3 sec to 2.3 sec. I have been feared many times, and yes it does suck to lose control of your character for what feels like 45 minutes, being unable to fight back while Fiddlesticks drains you (literally) to death.
But nerfing the fear from 3 sec. hurts the use of the Fear when its a genuine CC and not used in a damage/CC combo. If you need to run, for example, the Fear is exceptional. So, taking that into account, why can't there be a change to the Fear where it still operates for 3 sec, but the effect is diminished on-hit/ability by damage, lowering it to the desired 2.3 or even below to 2 sec.
That way, you could still get use from the Fear as a CC for disengaging but the feared player isn't punished while being attacked while feared.
