With all the preseason posts, why use Reddit over your Community Beta site?

Since the Community Beta site was created that largely mirror's reddit's "good things rise to the top" model, why do you cross post on reddit over your own Community Beta site?

Good question.

Currently, Reddit provides a single place for multiple territories to have a conversation. The way that we currently have the web properties setup is on a per-territory basis.

Basically, they arne't confident enough in their platform yet (juatified imo)
