[SUGGESTION] Since Riot doesn't want to disable new champions in ranked for the first week

How about they have two purchase costs:

  1. To play in every game modes **except **for ranked (7,800 IP)
  2. To play in all game modes (anywhere from 8,300 IP to 10,300 IP)

No matter how long someone has been playing a new champion on the PBE, playing them in the first weeks of release (when they are probably more unbalanced than they will ever be) either can be unfair for the enemy team or that player's team.

######I'm aware that the price range for the second purchase cost (2) might be too wide however I wanted to make it clear that the minimum would be 8,300 IP. The last thing I want to do is restrict people from playing a new champion. However, if you don't have enough experience on said champion, then you shouldn't be playing them in ranked. While an increased cost is only a band-aid to the problem, it serves as a reinforced blockade to prevent misuse of a new champion in ranked game modes.

i think there shouldn't be a purchase lock since having the ip for a full unlock doesn't make you any better with the champ then if you didn't have the ip. If they put any kind of lock i think it should be related to the mastery system that riot already has in place.
