Since we do a lot of discussion/argument on boards, here's a video to inform you about some arguments that don't hold up. It's a handy thing to be able to realize logical fallacies, and a handy tool to point people to, if they are using a logical fallacy.

I find it funny when people claim "oh lol, you used X fallacy, your argument is automatically wrong!" Then I start listing theirs and they stop.

Logical fallacies don't hold up, but they don't disprove an argument either. Just because a fallacy is used doesn't mean the whole argument is automagically bunk. It just means that fallacy can be discounted.

Ad hominem is by far the most popular one on these forums. You have any sort of argument and you will get people attacking your match history, ranking, previous posts etc.,

My favorite from a debate class I took a while back is Post hoc, ergo propter hoc.
