To everyone complaining about the 11/15 ranked reset...

This is preseason. Whether you went up, went down, or didn't move at all, it doesn't matter. Your rank will be reset for season 7.

Your MMR affects your season 7 placement, not your rank. And the matchmaking (now that they fixed it) is based on your MMR, not your rank.

It's like you guys are complaining that somebody replaced your good mattress with a bad one, except you're in a hotel and you'll go home soon. Stop complaining and realize your preseason rank won't matter soon.

Rank offically does impact your rating after the preseason now. MMR isn't the only factor this season you will be a rating below or an entire tier below what you got, this literally fucks people over.

Also if you're playing in lower elo due to this, your mmr is dropping since you're playing against lower mmr players, affecting your MMR as well..

For example, I'm a gold 5 soloq (dynamic) player

Got silver 4 and climbed to promos silver 1 Got demoted to silver 3 If the season started right now, I'd be bronze 3 from gold 5 last season and almost gold 5 preseason.

If our "mmr" netted us bronze this time, pretty sure it'll do it again since it's the same system. There absolutely IS cause for concern.
