Are low Priority Queues that got for a DC Ranked for Ranked matches only?

During my last game Windows decided to update and by the time it finished, the game had ended and I got punished. Now does this I HAVE to play 5 Ranked games in Low Priority Queue or can I just Norms for the 5 matches. I ask because the last thing I want is to play in a probably even more toxic environment than it already is.
