The highest ban rate at the moment - according to lolking - is 55% just a month or two ago there were 3-4 champs with ban rates over 70%

I ban champs i have problems dealing with, regardless of their winrate. That said, i appreciate Riot looking into the champions who are banned most and are trying to adjust those.
Worlds just got finished a few weeks ago, i wonder why new champs started being banned.... Def doesn't have to do with community being a giant sheep
Ban rate doesn't mean shit, neither does winrate. Gnar has 55% ban rate, he was considered thrash a few days ago. Rammus is crap if you pick AP team or buy Last Whipsher. Zed is countered by half the things in the game, people just don't know how to counterbuild. Fizz is just a noob stomper.
My first thought on seeing the title was that you were being sarcastic. Its nice to see some positive view on these forums for a change. I really like how they've been handling things lately. Even though people say otherwise, balence is pretty good right now. Outside of pro-picks that is.
