the community is proving riot was right to remove tribunal

just look at all the threads from people who have been banned saying they didnt deserve it. 30+ downvotes with hundreds of views on every one.

now most of these people did deserve it (although some did not imo) but that is not the point. look at all the attention and downvotes they get. people love it! they get off on seeing someone get banned.

a vote for ban will win 9 times out of 10 regardless of if they deserve it or not. you can find threads on the player behavior page where supposedly the worst thing the guy said is like 'graves you are not good at this game'. and it will be downvoted and people commenting 'yep you deserved the ban you could have hurt that guys feelings and i hope you get cancer'.

i know its true because i am one of you. the less a guy deserved it, the funnier it is to see them get banned. if there was a tribunal id likely vote for bans for the ones who dont deserve it and vote to let the worst of the worst go with no punishment. we clearly cant handle judging our fellow players.

Just pure numbers made it right to remove trib. It could never work

iirc there were incentives to be correct in judgement in the tribunal (like the whole "you can get banned 4 lyfe for misusing the tribunal").

This is not the case on the boards, where other cynical jerkfaces have no repercussions when kicking someone who's down.

basically what I'm getting at is: tribunal =/= unban thread requests
