why is there no report option for bots?
maybe riot does not know about them? well - there are bots in pvp - so now you know.
maybe riot thinks if they don't say anything we wont notice? we noticed
maybe riot doesn't care?

it was rare, now not so much.
As for false positives: isn't that a oxymoron to itself. After all althought some bots have become smart 90% of them still run the same tatic. Having someone band when they never talk is possible if they get trolled enough. Plus botting has been going on long enough that it's not like it's unknown.
Ontop of that they have three different way's to report a person for basicly "Raging" at this team/computer but not one Decent way to report for botting.
After all what do you really call it someone isn't going to look at it as a Bronze level fail. Me I prefer AFK/leave but the BOT does move. They could make something as simple as the LEAVE buster for boting. If bot accounts can make it to level +30 without even temp bands something is wrong.
One of the main reasons is they would get a bunch of false positives, and making a system that tackles the symptoms rather than the cause is kind of pointless anyways. If someone knows how to make a bot in this game, they can make a near infinite amount of accounts and use them for bots. Because of this, banning each individual bot makes no difference at all. Really, if this is actually a problem, Riot will need to put other safeguards in place to ensure that botting is not possible. But to be real with you, why would they devote resources to an almost non-existent problem?
You got to send a support ticket for those, unfortunately.
I had, and gotten a response, and scripting is a definite no-no. But a big issue is proving it, and that can't be left to an automated system 100% of the time.
