Can't get an S if you actually play support properly?
0 Deaths 14 assist, most wards placed yet A-? Yet my Annie "support" who gets 10+ kills and 4 deaths and less assists with less warding gets S?

I dunno, ive just started playing Sona, 6 games, 6 S's... its all about your overall performance. IE; Wards placed, Wards destroyed, Lagest multkill, Towers taken, Assist, Kills, Deaths, Farm, Gold, Damage dealt, Drags and Barons you helped with, etc.
There are at least two schools of thought on this: On the one hand, the system for evaluating your letter grade is supposedly incredibly complex and difficult to figure out and constantly changes with every game that gets played which makes means comparing your stats from one game to your stats in another game might not be useful.
On the other hand, some players don't feel that the stats available can serve to sufficiently grade their performances in games.
So, unless someone is actually able to crack the system being used to evaluate performance, I'm not sure that we can have a meaningful discussion about what you need to do in a game to get an S grade vs. what you are doing in a game that demonstrates that you played your role well. For example, knowing that you placed more wards is just a game statistic. We don't know based on that alone if you actually placed your wards well or if the system has a way of evaluating your ward placement as part of determining your letter grade. And for all we know, you may be right: maybe playing support properly doesn't get you an S grade. How can we know? No one has cracked the system.
Were any of those wards pink wards? Pink wards are great ways to increase your odds. 1-2 should suffice.
