@Riot Why on earth would you still nerf Aurelion Sol?

I can understand you believe he is strong, but strong enough to be nerfed?Not only he is probably the fairest champion to play against, but he's already doing fine, if not mediocre. Just because he has a high winrate it doesn't mean he's overpowered, since his playrate is only 1%. And i'm curious to know why, even if he's not the only champions with high win rate/low play rate, you decided to nerf him:Volibear, Twitch and Annie have basically the same win rate but higher play rate; Karthus and Galio have low play rate and and high win rate, and I could go on, but the point is there is no reason to nerf a champion who is perfectly fine, otherwise why not nerf them as well? Please, don't nerf him to the ground. source

Because he's a celestial being, earths rules don't matter. Your statement why on earth is meaningless.

I would hardly call this "nerfing him into the ground," but as someone who plays a lot of Sol I am a little confused as to why this nerf is happening. It's mostly the ult damage reduction, which is the most reliable source of damage in his kit.
