Wow is low plat really this cancerous?

Just got matched with 8 plats (mostly plat 5 and 4)... I thought that people would understand the importance of vision control and warding in general but holy shit was I wrong. First our riven asks for top and the guy who queued in as top gives it to him. Riven proceeds to feed the shit out of Pantheon which gives em a huge advantage because of his map control. Then thrash talks all our team even though every other role did good early. I was 4/1/1 as Vel Koz support in lane. I saved my adc twice from Vi ganks and zoned Jinx and Sona during the entire laning phase.

The enemy team starts taking control of our jungles and I get caught maybe 5 times in a row because I'm the only one who goes in to ward. ALL GAME LONG literally only 3 or 4 wards on the map and all or most of em were mine. NO ONE was warding. Needless to say we got wrecked. I mean you can't let a team dominate your jungle like that it just gives em free objectives all over the map. I'm only gold 3 now but damn if this is how low plats really like, it's no different from silver.
