I think if rito wants to actually attempt to fix the "toxicity" problem

They need to do some root cause analysis. Their system simply isn't working.

Riot Games does appear to be a leader in the industry on how they handle player behaviour. They gather TONS of data in the game and they keep all of it. They also change and test different ways to prevent toxicity, and appear to have made very good progress in combating it.

You can learn more about the behaviour systems, and how they gather data in Lyte's Game Developer Conference talks from this year, and 2013. They are actually quite interesting to watch: 2015 - http://gdcvault.com/play/1022160/More-Science-Behind-Shaping-Player 2013 - http://gdcvault.com/play/1017940/The-Science-Behind-Shaping-Player

Lmfao. Riot is garbage. They aren't a leader in anything. Their science isn't science... it's useless garbage. I say nothing in my games worth banning for, yet I'm constantly chat restricted, or ranked restricted. I JUST got my ranked restriction down to 2 games, and off of chat restriction for 3 games, and the next game I hop into, I've got chat restriction and my ranked restriction is back to 35.

The problem is that morons like this Kao kid, and the idiots at RIOT, think that they can help toxicity by putting restrictions. All the restrictions do to me is piss me off and make me more toxic. I don't even like playing normals, so every game I have to play just pisses me off more.

Their "science" is garbage, much as they are. At this point, I honestly would NOT help any riot tribunal employee that was dying right in front of me. I would just watch, and be like, "Sorry, can't help, I'm restricted".

The root cause is human nature.

Good luck changing that.

Riot is doing something against toxic players. I just had a temp ban for it. Although Im not being toxic anymore, it's very hard
