Tips to play draven?

So,i got ,very fun BUT I did HORRIBLE in both games I did with him as the first game: killed people in 3 hits so I could never get my passive off second:got ganked by about 15 times when laning( was like 1/2/10 by the end of laning) so I only got like 2 kills in teamfights cause I wasn't fed(had high CS and all that cause CSing with draven is rather simple with his Q) and obviously got flamed (by top. didn't say anything and I don't think jungle had anything to say doing yasuo jungle) cause I had no kills and cancled the recall he just started due to hitting raptors (AFTER he took every raptor [slayer-jinx-unamused] ) I did bad but I still want to play draven as he is fun,though I don't have very good judgement on mana as I have been flamed for using abilitys to CS and flamed for not using abilitys to CS and cant really tell what I should spam...
